Magical News Network
Good news, readers! The crimson cloud that drifted over Neptune Falls has finally disappeared. Our meteorologist, Dr. Sunny Flufferfoot, says this is the first time on record a cloud has stayed fixed over town long enough to make him worry it might turn into pink rain, but it held off. No need for umbrellas.
Birthday wishes also seem to be back in proper working order. No more mix‑ups like last week’s “I wished for a bike and got ballet slippers” situation. Reports show wishes are matching their requests again, which is a relief to everyone involved.
There have been no new giant sightings today, which hopefully means nothing BIG is currently going on. We remain cautiously optimistic.
In other news, I had a very exciting moment at lunch this afternoon. I looked up and saw a bright yellow streak shoot across the sky. Naturally, I assumed it was either a Messenger Fairy or a miniature UFO. I began taking notes immediately.
Then I discovered my glasses had mustard on them from my sandwich.
Still, I’m keeping the case open. You never know when magic might show itself again.

Newsie McGee
