I set out to write a story about a family of sisters who crossed paths with the Fairies of the Realm. And then, one perfectly ordinary day, it hit me like a wand to the forehead—the sisters ARE the Fairies.

After that, Wands & Wings took off—and honestly, so did I. I could barely keep up with the Faylinns. There were days I was so deep in their world, I was genuinely convinced I'd just had tea at the Royal Palace. (The scones were excellent, by the way.)

The Faylinn family feels like they live right down the street from me—and maybe from you, too. They bicker, they borrow each other's things without asking, and they will absolutely, without question, drop everything for each other when it matters.

And then there's Duchess. She's the heart, the chaos, and the very best girl—built from every silly, lovable dog our family has ever had the joy of being owned by.
