Creative Writing Prompts
Creative writing helps students explore imagination, identity, courage, and problem‑solving — the same themes found in the Wands & Wings series.
These prompts are designed to be accessible to all students, whether or not they’ve read the books. They encourage reflection, creativity, and emotional connection while keeping the magical tone of the series.

Prompts
1. If you were given a blue hat by a Fairy and suddenly discovered you could fly, where would you go first? Would you fly at night? How far would you travel before coming back?
2. If Tia and her sisters brought you to the Fairy Realm, what is the very first place you would want to visit? Why would you choose that place?
3. On your first trip down the Magic Toy Box, what are you going to play with? And when you’re done, what will you order at the soda fountain?
4. Do you wish you had a best friend who happened to be a Fairy, like the Faylinn Sisters have? What is your Fairy best friend’s name? Where do the two of you like to hang out? What do you do together?
5. If you had magic powers, would you ever use them at school? When would you use them, and for which class?
6. Imagine a Fairy has gifted you a tiny glowing door in your room that leads to a shortcut. Where does it take you, and what happens when you step through?
7. A Fairy offers to grant you one small magical ability — nothing huge, just something helpful. What ability do you choose, and how would you use it?
8. Imagine you got to hang out with Duchess for one day. What kind of adventure do you and Duchess go on together? Does she lead you somewhere surprising?
9. You’re invited to a Fairy festival in the Realm. What do you wear, what do you see, and what surprises you the most?
10. Imagine Neferria spotted you in the Fairy Realm and wasn’t sure if you were a threat… or someone interesting. What does she say to you? How do you respond? Does she try to impress you, intimidate you, or recruit you into one of her dramatic plans? What choice do you make?
