Create a Character's Journey
Every character in the Fairy Realm has a story — the Faylinn sisters, Duchess, the magical departments staff, the shopkeepers, the palace workers, and even the travelers passing through Fairy Central.
In this activity, students choose a character and imagine the path they take through the Realm.
They decide where the character starts, where they go next, what they see, and what happens along the way.
This helps students practice sequencing, narrative structure, and creative thinking while exploring the Realm Map.
Instructions:
-
Students choose one character (a Faylinn sister, Duchess, a magical department worker, or a character they invent).
-
Students pick three to five locations on the map that the character will visit.
-
Explain that each seasonal picture on the map is a portal into an entire land in the Fairy Realm—Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall.
-
Students imagine what the character does at each stop.
-
Students write the journey using narrative sequencing words (first, next, then, after that, finally).
-
Optional: Students draw the character’s path on a mini‑map.
